The Backstory

Ryan and Travis began working together at ACG Wealth in 2018 after long careers in the wealth management industry. Travis was hired by ACG Wealth as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to bring structure and process to ACG’s equity and ETF strategies, and ultimately improve and actively manage these strategies for the firm’s clients. Ryan’s background had been on the client facing side as a wealth advisor. Throughout his career, Ryan noticed most firms were focused on providing valuable services in the retirement planning, tax management and estate planning areas, but none seemed to want to put any meaningful effort into managing investments.

Shortly after joining ACG, Travis began having long discussions with Ryan about which internal investment strategies not only resonated well with clients but also had the greatest potential to outperform the markets. Together, they have crafted an investment offering that consists only of strategies they consider to be the cornerstone of effective portfolio management. In fact, Travis and Ryan noticed a common theme when speaking with sophisticated prospects and clients: they wanted something more than the simple asset allocation ETF models offered at many wealth management firms.
